God’s Blessing In The Storm
Jeremiah 17:7- 8 (KJV)
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,…For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat cometh,…; and shall not be anxious in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7- 8 (KJV)
Fellow saints of God, let us take refuge and comfort in the Word of God today, knowing always no matter what our trials, turmoils, hardships, or mountains we are faced with, we just need to rest in the arms and bosom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He is our Deliverer and Provider.
In Luke 8:23-25, we read about the jeopardy the boat and disciples were in due to the severe storm. Jesus commanded the storm to be calm, and it was so. The question was then asked, “Who can this be?” I want to remind you today, He’s our God.
Friends, it’s not about the degree of our difficulties, but the blessed assurance that God is with us. His Word reminds us in Deuteronomy 31:8 (KJV) And the Lord, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Exercising confidence and faith in God has its own challenges when faced with life’s challenges, but I encourage you to look deep within and pull from the Word of God hidden inside your heart and draw strength. Whatever storm you are standing in today, continue to persevere and trust God for your blessing, for it is in the midst of the storm, believe. Amen!
